Wat Muen Buddha Mettakunaram is the Mahayana temple which belongs to the Chinese clergy of Thailand.

It was built to commemorate  the fiftieth  anniversary of the king's  accession . In addition to this commemoration it was also built to allow education for the hill tribe, to help them improve their general education and also to publish the teaching of mahayana.

This temple is situated  in a beautiful countryside. When we walk up to the top near the temple we can see  the surrounding  beautiful  mountain and   natural countryside .
