Wat Muen Buddha Mettakunaram is the Mahayana temple which belongs to the Chinese clergy of Thailand.
It was built to commemorate  the fiftieth  anniversary of the king's  accession . In addition to this commemoration it was also built to allow education for the hill tribe, to help them improve their general education and also to publish the teaching of mahayana.

This temple is situated  in a beautiful countryside. When we walk up to the top near the temple we can see  the surrounding  beautiful  mountain and   natural countryside . Inside the temple it is  peaceful, it is a good place for the tourists who like to find   Some peace and thinking about what they have done in that day.

Wat Sang kaew Po Ti Yan วัดแสงแก้วโพธิญาณ 📍  Location:  Ban Mai Saeng kaew,  Jae Dee Luang district,  Mae Suai,  Chiang Rai. You can take a bus  Chiang Rai-Waing Pa Pao  then get off when you arrive the way to go up to the temple and walk up to the temple which is very far.  It will  be better to take our own cars.🚙 ----------------🍃------------------ What is the meaning of " Sang Kaew    Po Ti Yan" ? There is a story where this name come from.  Once upon a time during the rainstorm, there is a monk who got lost around the mountain. He walked for a while then he saw a light, so he continued walking to see what the light was from. Finally, he met a man was holding  flashlight, then they started  a conversation. -----------------🍃----------------- Monk :  where are you going sir? The guy :  There is a flood down there, I'm going up to the hill. Do you want to come with me? Monk :  Go ahead. I'm going to have a look down there first

Khua  is the  northern Thai dialect    which means  "bridge " Khrae  is   the northern Thai dialect  which means  " Bamboo"  Combining  these words together give the name  "Wat khua khrae" Which means  the bridge  made from bamboo. --------------🔻🔻🔻-------------- I would like to persuade you to go to Wat Khua Khae because it is a very beautiful  temple. The location has a beautiful bridge which is made from bamboo, a very high pagoda which is also very beautiful, and it gives a great  view of the surrounding area.
